1. Granite Chief Home Services
Based in Minden, NV, Granite Chief Home Services works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 7, the business has been operating for 1 year. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, floating hardwood floors, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, engineered hardwood over concrete and subfloor leveling. Granite Chief Home Services is also listed for handyman, interior painting and junk removal. Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.
