1. Better Choice Installers
Based in Wyncote, PA, Better Choice Installers works as a furniture assembler. The business has been operating for 9 years with a team of 5. A typical visit in Wyncote begins with unboxing, checking that all parts are present, and clearing a workspace. Pieces are built in or near the room where each piece will stay, leveled on the floor, and tested before the installer cleans up the cardboard and wrapping. Typical jobs for furniture assembly in Wyncote include disassembly for a move, treadmill and home gym assembly, sectional sofa setup, bunk bed assembly and shelving unit installation. Better Choice Installers is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, exterior painting and garbage disposal repair. Homeowners usually call after a big furniture delivery, when a piece has dozens of parts, or when a heavy item needs two people to lift. Mention stairs, the floor each item goes on, and whether any pieces should be anchored to drywall, plaster, or brick. Pricing usually depends on the number of items, their size and complexity, and whether wall anchoring or old furniture removal is included. Customers in Wyncote and nearby areas such as Glenside, Elkins Park and Jenkintown can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
