1. Dan’s handyman service
Based in Jasper, TN, Dan’s handyman service works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 10 years with a team of 4. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls. Common requests for hardwood floor installation include unfinished floors finished on site, engineered hardwood over concrete, transition strips and thresholds, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors and stair tread and riser installation. Dan’s handyman service is also listed for countertop installation, furniture assembly, handyman and hardwood floor refinishing. Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor. Besides Jasper, homeowners in South Pittsburg, Whitwell and Signal Mountain can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and Zelle.
