1. Father and son’s flooring
Based in Waller, TX, Father and son’s flooring works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 26 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls. Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Waller include nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, transition strips and thresholds, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, floating hardwood floors and solid oak plank installation. Father and son’s flooring is also listed for carpet installation. Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor. Customers in Waller and nearby areas such as Hockley, Hempstead and Cypress can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. To get started, send Father and son’s flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
