1. Hardesty Contracting
Based in Terra Alta, WV, Hardesty Contracting works as a handyman service. It has been in business for 2 years. Most handyman calls start with a quick walkthrough of the task list, followed by a check of the tools and materials each item needs. Jobs are then worked in a sensible order, with dust control and cleanup at the end, leaving the homeowner with finished repairs instead of half-done weekend projects. Typical jobs for handyman work in Terra Alta include hanging shelves and mirrors, furniture assembly, grab bar installation, replacing light fixtures and fixing sticky drawers. Hardesty Contracting is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, dog fence installation and door repair. Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, PayPal and Square cash app. Request a quote from Hardesty Contracting on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
