Fixerlane vs Jobber: pricing and features compared
Jobber is one of the best-known field service apps for home service businesses, sold in four plans priced by the number of users. Fixerlane covers the same quote–schedule–invoice–get-paid loop for one flat price, but has fewer automations and no text messaging.

What Fixerlane does not do
If any of these is something you use every day, stay with Jobber or pick a tool that has it.
- Text messages (SMS) to customers — no reminders, “on my way” texts or two-way texting by SMS
- Route optimisation — you see the day on a map and set the order yourself
- GPS tracking of technicians
- QuickBooks sync — QuickBooks is a one-time import, not a live connection
- Consumer financing for customers
- Change orders and progress (milestone) billing
- Membership or service-agreement billing
- Equipment and asset tracking
- Marketing campaigns (email or postcards) and call tracking
- Aerial or satellite measurements
Switching from Jobber
Fixerlane imports from QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop export files — Excel, CSV, IIF or the Export data .zip — and brings in customers, products and services, past invoices and estimates. You check what it found before anything is saved, nothing is emailed to your customers, and an import can be undone. There is no direct import from Jobber.
If your Jobber account syncs to QuickBooks, your customers and invoices are already there: export them from QuickBooks and upload the files to Fixerlane. Jobs, schedules and photos stay in Jobber. Every list and report in Fixerlane exports as CSV, so leaving is as easy as arriving.
The trial is 7 days with no card, so you can run a real week in Fixerlane alongside Jobber before you cancel anything.
Common questions
- Is Fixerlane a good Jobber alternative?
- For a solo pro or a small crew that wants quoting, scheduling, invoicing and card payments without per-user pricing, yes: Fixerlane is $19.99 a month for unlimited users. It is not a like-for-like replacement if you rely on Jobber’s text messaging, route optimisation, GPS tracking or QuickBooks sync — Fixerlane has none of those.
- How much does Jobber cost compared with Fixerlane?
- On October 4, 2026 Jobber’s pricing page listed Core at $29/mo billed annually ($49 with no commitment) for one user, and 5 users from $149/mo billed annually on Connect. Fixerlane is $19.99/mo or $149.99/yr for any team size.
- Does Fixerlane send text messages like Jobber?
- No. Fixerlane sends reminders, quotes, invoices and “on my way” notices by email and app notification, not SMS.
- Can I move my Jobber data to Fixerlane?
- There is no direct Jobber import. If your Jobber account syncs to QuickBooks, export your customers, products and invoices from QuickBooks and upload the files to Fixerlane; you review what it found before anything is saved.
- Does Fixerlane have a client hub like Jobber?
- Yes. Customers open quotes and invoices from a link, approve quotes and pay by card without making an account, and customers who use the Fixerlane app see their quotes, invoices and visit times in one place. You choose what it shows from your settings.
- Is there a free trial?
- Both have one. Jobber offers 14 days of its Grow plan with no credit card; Fixerlane offers 7 days of everything with no card, and the directory listing and leads stay free afterwards.
