What Fixerlane does not do
If any of these is something you use every day, stay with ServiceTitan or pick a tool that has it.
- Text messages (SMS) to customers — no reminders, “on my way” texts or two-way texting by SMS
- Route optimisation — you see the day on a map and set the order yourself
- GPS tracking of technicians
- QuickBooks sync — QuickBooks is a one-time import, not a live connection
- Consumer financing for customers
- Change orders and progress (milestone) billing
- Membership or service-agreement billing
- Equipment and asset tracking
- Marketing campaigns (email or postcards) and call tracking
- Aerial or satellite measurements
Switching from ServiceTitan
Fixerlane imports from QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop export files — Excel, CSV, IIF or the Export data .zip — and brings in customers, products and services, past invoices and estimates. You check what it found before anything is saved, nothing is emailed to your customers, and an import can be undone. There is no direct import from ServiceTitan.
If you also keep your books in QuickBooks, export your customers and invoices from there and upload the files; otherwise customers are added in Fixerlane by hand. Jobs, schedules and photos stay in ServiceTitan. Every list and report in Fixerlane exports as CSV, so leaving is as easy as arriving.
The trial is 7 days with no card, so you can run a real week in Fixerlane alongside ServiceTitan before you cancel anything.
Common questions
- How much does ServiceTitan cost?
- ServiceTitan does not publish its prices. Its pricing page (checked October 4, 2026) says pricing is per technician and asks you to request a quote; we do not repeat third-party estimates.
- Is Fixerlane a ServiceTitan alternative?
- For a small business, yes — but they are built for different companies. ServiceTitan is for contractors with an office and many technicians; Fixerlane is for owner-operators and small crews who want quoting, scheduling, invoicing and payments at a published price.
- What does ServiceTitan do that Fixerlane does not?
- Call booking for an office, payroll, commissions, memberships and advanced reporting. Fixerlane also has no text messaging, route optimisation, GPS tracking or QuickBooks sync.
- Can I try Fixerlane without talking to sales?
- Yes. Sign up, use everything for 7 days with no card, then choose a plan or keep only the free listing.
