  • Text messages (SMS) to customers — no reminders, “on my way” texts or two-way texting by SMS
  • Route optimisation — you see the day on a map and set the order yourself
  • GPS tracking of technicians
  • QuickBooks sync — QuickBooks is a one-time import, not a live connection
  • Consumer financing for customers
  • Change orders and progress (milestone) billing
  • Membership or service-agreement billing
  • Equipment and asset tracking
  • Marketing campaigns (email or postcards) and call tracking

Switching from ZenMaid

Fixerlane imports from QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop export files — Excel, CSV, IIF or the Export data .zip — and brings in customers, products and services, past invoices and estimates. You check what it found before anything is saved, nothing is emailed to your customers, and an import can be undone. There is no direct import from ZenMaid.

If you also keep your books in QuickBooks, export your customers and invoices from there and upload the files; otherwise customers are added in Fixerlane by hand. Jobs, schedules and photos stay in ZenMaid. Every list and report in Fixerlane exports as CSV, so leaving is as easy as arriving.

The trial is 7 days with no card, so you can run a real week in Fixerlane alongside ZenMaid before you cancel anything.
